Chihuahua / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Blanco the Dog needs a home

Please contact Adoptions ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Blanco is a senior Chihuahua that was returned to the shelter after his owner died. He was born in January 2003. He has general visual and hearing deficits that go along with his age and arthritis, as well, but otherwise is a very healthy little boy. He is used to living in a home with other dogs and does great around cats, too.

According to his foster mom "Blanco has the best temperament. He is so calm and doesn’t bark, but when he’s left alone he howls. He adapted right away, like he had been here before. He loves laps and always follows us. He will make someone a great little companion. He drinks a lot so he needs to go out a lot, but otherwise he is very low maintenance. He gets along with every animal, people and children. Such a sweetie!"

The adoption fee is $90 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm preventative medication, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
